Ok now what we have to do is duplicate each layer and add a gradient. So lets do this one at a time. Select the first layer then go to layer/duplicate layer. Then go to blending options and give it a gradient. Leave one side white and the other side the color the side already is. You can just do that by using the eye dropper tool. You can do this for each side.
