Now that we have that done right click anywhere on the page and select background. Then go to layer/delete layer. So you should have your box with a checkered background now which means transparent. Now that you have that go to layer/merge layer. What you have done now is put all the layers into one layer. After that go to layer/duplicate layer. Then blending options/color. After you do that make it the color white. Then grab the elliptical marquee tool and make a selection across the white, then just press backspace. So once again make the opacity to about, "11". This is my final image I hope yours came out as good as mine. You can even turn this into a logo.
