This tutorial will teach you about the different tools on
the photoshop tool menu. When I write tutorials sometimes its hard explaining what each tool does. So I just decided to make a tutorial that explains each tool.

Here is the tool set: Each number will go along its corresponding number which will explain what each tool does.

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

Move Tool The move tool lets you select layers, and move them around as you will as long as there not locked. This is an essential tool to photoshop and probably any and all programs you use.
Magic Wand ToolThe magic wand tool is a tool that lets you click on the background, select it, and simply erase it. It can be nice if you have a plain white background and an object in the middle of it, but it leaves rough corners so I don't recommend using it.
Slice Tool The slice tool is an essential part of photoshop and web designing. The slice tool lets you slice out a template into different images. Then you just save and you have images that you can start coding into a fully developed template.
Paint Brush Tool The paint brush tool is one of my favorite tools. This is a tool that lets you have fun with photoshop. Using this tool you can paint with any brush that you have in your pallet.
History Brush Tool I have never actually used this tool myself, but all it does is replace anything that you have painted with a brush but that was erased.
Paint Bucket Tool The paint bucket tool lets you paint in layers.
Burn Tool/Dodge Tool The burn tool and the other tools that come with it are really important tools to a web desiger. There actually really useful in making light and dark spots with images.
Type Tool Lets you type.
Rounded Rectangle Tool This tool and the tools that come with it are also pretty cool because there editable. So once you draw this shape, you can use the pen tool to edit the shape.
Eye Drop Tool This tool lets you point anywhere on the screen and it shows you the color you are pointing at. This tool can be very useful when designing a template or anything else.
Zoom Tool One of the most important tools in photoshop. This tool lets you zoom into your work so you can see what your doing better.
Background Color This is where you can choose your background color.
Rectangle Marquee Tool This tool and the tools that come along with it let you select different parts of layers and they let you edit them or cut them out.
Polygon Lasso Tool The Lasso Tools also let you cut out different parts of layers but you have more freedom with these tools because you can cut out any shape you want.
Crop Tool The crop tool lets you crop certain images and save them for web instead of saving the whole document.
Healing Brush Tool Lets you select areas and edit them better using a brush.
Clone Stamp Tool The tool you will least use in photoshop. This tool lets you select a point on a picture by pressing alt, then lets  you make the exact clone of it.
Eraser Tool The eraser tool lets you erase undesired areas.
