Viewing: Quick Clipping Mask
Make sure your picture layer is on top of your text layer.
The easiest way to create the clipping mask is by hitting alt, and clicking right in between your text layer and picture layer. The cool thing is, you can move around your beach picture (or whatever you are using) and decide what part of it you want to show through.
