Next we can add some gloss to the button. Use the Elliptical Marquee tool and draw a oval that covers about 50 percent of the button.
Now with the Gradient tool, draw a white transparent gradient starting from the bottom of the selection to the top.
Change the Blending mode on this layer to Soft Light. And turn the opacity down to 60%. Cut off the excess white like you did in Step 2.
