Step 5 – Shiny Reflection

Here comes the fun part adding a shiny reflection. You do this by merging all of your layers except for the background. Copy that layer and flip it vertically. Line it up right under the button with a 2px gap in between. Turn the opacity down to about 60%.



Next we need to fade the reflection by erasing part of it. You do this the same as when we added the shine but only cover 25%. Use the Elliptical Marquee tool and draw a oval that covers about 25 percent of the reflection.



Go to Select>Feather and set the radius to 10px. And then delete that selection. That should leave you with a blended looking shiny floor.
